The staff at Pronamics have been developing specialist software for the engineering and construction industries since 1987. Pronamics is a private company founded by Glen Townsley, a professional Civil Engineer, Estimator, Project Manager and software developer. Based in Brisbane, Australia, Pronamics develop software that is internationally relevant.

Our flagship product, Expert Estimation, was first released in 1987 and received a great deal of industry support and praise. The Windows® based version of Expert Estimation was first released in 1999 and is one of the most comprehensive and user friendly estimating systems available on the market today. Our second package, Expert Project, developed to satisfy a need throughout the industry for an on-site financial management system, was released in 2001.

The versatility of Pronamics' software has been proven by the diversity of our current clients who use our products in civil, mechanical and electrical engineering, telecommunications, pipelining, mining and construction related fields.

Users of our software range from large multi-national mining and engineering companies, government construction departments with hundreds of users and local authorities, to small and medium sized engineering firms and single user contract estimators.

At Pronamics, we pride ourselves on our customer support and, as a result, a member of staff is always available to attend to any problems users may have – day and night.

By listening to, and responding to our clients needs, both Expert Estimation and Expert Project are continually being developed and improved, and are now industry leaders in their respective fields. No other Australian company can offer software to support the construction operation from the tender through to completion of the project in the field.

Cooperation with other companies providing software to the construction industry is a high priority at Pronamics, with cooperative data transfers being available for a number of the leading software providers both within Australia and overseas. Pronamics are also continuing to develop and release applications to support the construction industry as, and where specific requirements exist.
